How to Save on Car Hire in Malaga Airport and Marbella: Tips and Advice

Prices for car hire in Malaga airport and Marbella depend on several key factors:

Seasonality

During the high tourist season (summer, holidays), prices for car hire in Malaga airport are significantly higher due to increased demand. In the low season (winter, off-season), prices are generally lower.

Type of Vehicle

Small and economy-class cars are cheaper to hire than larger or luxury models.

Duration of Hire

Long-term car hire in Malaga airport often costs less per day compared to short-term rentals.

Insurance and Additional Services

Full insurance and additional options (such as GPS, child seat) can increase the cost of car hire in Malaga airport.

Driver's Age

Young drivers (under 26) may face additional charges.

Booking Conditions

Early booking is usually cheaper than last-minute car hire in Malaga airport.

How to Rent a Car Economically

Price Comparison

Use aggregators and compare offers from different rental companies. Popular sites like Rentalcars, Kayak, or Auto Europe can help you find the best deals. However, remember that these are intermediaries, and it's often better to book directly with the rental company.

Early Booking

Book your car hire in Malaga airport in advance to get the best prices and a wider selection.

Off-Airport Rental

Consider renting a car outside the airport to avoid additional fees. The SOLO rent a car office is just a few minutes away from the airport, offering better prices and choices.

Discounts and Bonuses

Look for promo codes and special offers. For example, you can join the SOLO Club and get a discount on your first rental.

Avoid Additional Options

If you have your own GPS or child seat, bring them with you to avoid extra charges. At SOLO, we never push unnecessary additional services.

Check Insurance Conditions

Sometimes it's more cost-effective to get full insurance; check the conditions and compare to find the best option.

Flexible Rental Dates

If possible, try to vary the dates of pick-up and drop-off for better rates.

Useful Tips

Read the rental agreement carefully to avoid hidden charges.
Inspect the car before renting and document any existing damage.
Refuel the car before returning it to avoid fuel charges.

By following these recommendations, you can find advantageous deals on car hire in Malaga airport and Marbella.
