The airport has three passenger terminals interconnected, as well as a cargo terminal and a general aviation terminal. Terminal 2 is named after Pablo Picasso, and Terminal 3 opened in 2010. All flights depart from Terminal 3, although check-in for flights is distributed between the two terminals depending on the airline. There's also a general aviation terminal serving private and business flights.
Malaga Airport offers restaurants, shops, ATMs, a post office, a pharmacy, a medical center, a business center, and even a VIP lounge. If you're arriving from another country, you'll find free Wi-Fi handy. You can rent a car near the airport and easily reach your destination after arriving in Malaga.

How to Hire a Car at Malaga Airport
- Book your car rental at Malaga airport online. When you arrive, don't waste time in lines. Your documents will be ready, and the car will be waiting for you. Just select the car according to your preferences for the desired dates and make the reservation. Get your car within five minutes and embark on your journey!
- Receive booking confirmation. After completing the booking process, you'll receive confirmation with details of your reservation, including dates, times, and the pickup location at Malaga Airport.
- Arrive at the airport. Upon arrival at Malaga Airport, follow the signs to the car rental desks. These are usually located in the arrivals area, not far from the exit.
- Collect Your Car. Present your identification document and booking confirmation to the rental company staff. After filling out any necessary paperwork, you'll be given the keys to your car.
- Check the car's condition. Before driving away, carefully inspect the car for any damages and ensure that all functions are working properly. Inform the rental company staff of any issues you notice.
- Sign the rental agreement. Before departing, sign the rental agreement and familiarize yourself with the rental terms, including the rental cost, insurance, and usage rules.
- Return the car. At the end of the rental period, return the car to the designated location. This is typically the same area where you picked up the car. Ensure the car is returned in a clean condition and with a full tank of fuel, if required by the rental agreement.
How to Modify or Cancel a Booking

For the Premium+ Package
With this package, you can cancel the booking. If you cancel the booking more than 48 hours before the start of the rental, we fully refund the paid amount. If you cancel less than 48 hours before the start of the rental, SOLO rent a car retains 30% of the total rental cost plus an administrative fee of €50.
