Pick-Up Instructions
Once you’ve arrived at Malaga Airport, proceed to the SOLO rent a car office. Here’s what you need to bring to ensure a smooth pick-up process:
- Reservation Number or Voucher. This confirms your booking and helps us quickly locate your reservation.
- ID/NIE/Valid Passport. A valid identification document is essential.
- Driver's License. Ensure you have a valid and current type B driver’s license. Note that provisional or learner licenses, digital copies, QR codes, or image copies are not accepted. The same requirements apply to additional drivers.
Payment and Deposits
To secure your luxury vehicle, a deposit is required. Here’s what you need to know:

We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) in the main driver’s name. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cash, mobile payments, bank cheques, prepaid cards, or bank transfers.
Fuel Policy
SOLO rent a car operates a Full to Full fuel policy. You’ll receive your luxury car with a full tank, and it’s expected to be returned in the same condition. If the tank isn’t full upon return, the cost of the missing fuel plus a refueling fee of 19€ will apply.
Age and Driver Requirements
Renting a luxury vehicle comes with specific requirements:
- Minimum Age: You must be at least 26 years old.
- Driving Experience: A minimum of 12 months of driving experience is required.
Enjoying Unlimited Mileage
With SOLO rent a car, you can enjoy unlimited mileage for most vehicle groups, allowing you to explore the beautiful Spanish mainland and Gibraltar without worrying about additional costs. Just remember, driving outside these regions or using the vehicle for unauthorized purposes can result in penalties.
Grace Period and Late Returns
We understand that travel plans can change, so we offer a grace period for pick-ups and returns:
- Grace Period for Pick-Up. We allow a 120-minute grace period past the estimated pick-up time during office hours. If you’re running late, please contact us to avoid your reservation being marked as a NO SHOW.
- Late Returns. Returning your car up to 60 minutes late incurs no charge. Returns between 60 minutes and 2 hours late will be charged the price of one rental day. Delays of over 2 hours will incur a fee of 50€ plus the price of one rental day.
Cancellation and Modification Policies
Plans change, and we’re here to accommodate:
- Basic Package. Cancellation more than 48 hours in advance incurs a 30% fee plus 50€ processing. Less than 48 hours' notice incurs the same fee. No refunds are provided for NO SHOWs.
- Premium+ Package. Free cancellation more than 48 hours in advance. Less than 48 hours' notice incurs a 30% fee plus 50€ processing. No refunds for NO SHOWs.
Extra Recommendations for a Smooth Experience
Before you drive off in your luxurious ride, we recommend a few extra steps to ensure everything is perfect:
- Inspect the Vehicle: Check for any existing damages and compare them with the report in your rental contract. Report any discrepancies to our staff immediately.
- Document the Condition: Take photos or videos of the car’s condition for your records. This can be helpful in case of any disputes.
